Blossoms

Flowers have given way to snow in Marge's garden. The Christmas deer are out for the season.

Pond life

Fish are wintering over in the pond. We can see them swim by very slowly. The frogs have been silent for months.

Paths, globes and other delights

When the plants die, some garden delights become more apparent. The plow a farmer used two centuries ago is visible.

The 30-year garden

The garden we had a nursery plant in April is enduring its first winter. The few annuals are gone, but azaleas hold their leaves.

Winter has made the 30-year garden barren. For a look at winter's toll, click here. To go back to summer, click here.
